BWR has the capacity to scan and image massive amounts of stored documents
for easy access on any PC, media or Web. We take documents of any
size, prep them for scanning, scan them, and index the digitized image
to our client’s
relational database.
Our clients gain accelerated flows of information as well
as other benefits from having a document management solution. Learn
more under “why
document management?”
We can scan architectural & engineering drawings into
most common image formats, including
Tiff and PDF. Each one of these formats work with 99% of the document
management software on the market today. Additionally, we can scan paper
sizes from 8 1/2 x 11 to 36 x unlimited length.
Most indexes for the Large Format Drawings are the drawing number. Another
indexing feature is taking information off of these drawings and indexing
that information into a database, Tiff or PDF Document Property. This provides for enhanced search and retrieve options.
For small format scanning, we create levels of search
ability to your specifications. Boxes of project close-out information,
including correspondants, submittals, drawings, leases, sketches, accounts
receivable, human resource files, and photos, can all be transformed
to one searchable file. If a naming convention or file format system
has not been created, we will help you build one through our transitional
consultation services.
BWR has created a unique system to incorporate large and small format into one retrievable file. We can provide scanning services two ways…
This is scanning done at our locations. We will pick up
your documents at any location in the tri-state area with several methods
of transport, storage and post-scanning shredding.
This has become our biggest area of growth in
the last few years. In simple terms, we bring our office to yours. This
service adds the convenience and the need for maintaining highly sensitive
documents at our client’s location.
If you would like to see the value of digitally scanning your project close-out
documents rather than traditional box and store methods, please contact
us at customerservice@bwrepro.com or
212-643-0600. We would be pleased to create a sample digital archive for
you at no cost.
